Edgewater Connections (formerly Edgewater Connections Consulting) was engaged by Prime Constructions to assist them with the development of the Crossroads Logistics Centre, AMP Capital’s large Industrial Estate.
This precinct consists of six large commercial buildings, one of which will be home to WesTrac’s Sydney regional office and warehouse, while some of the other warehouses will house other organisations including Electrolux and Cosentino Tiles.
The Edgewater team provided electrical reticulation for the entire precinct as well as establishing a new 11kV Padmount substation and High Voltage & Low Voltage underground infrastructure to service each warehouse. Edgewater efficiently managed client requirements via effective communication with the builder and associated project teams to ensure total conformance with the client’s performance brief and regulatory requirements.
Our ability to identify potential problems that often arise with complex projects, resulted in the team going above and beyond the initial brief to deliver the most effective solutions, which delighted the client and ensured works remained on track.
The scope of Edgewater’s project included:
Endeavour Energy Level-3 ASP Distribution Design
- Design of a new 11kV 1500kVA Padmount ground-mounted electric power distribution substation, including High & Low Voltage switchgear, to suit the power requirements of end-users.
- Design of new High Voltage & Low Voltage underground assets.
- Managing and implementing applicable asset relocation.
- Earthing design for earthing systems covered in the scope of this project.
