Edgewater Connections was engaged by the onsite Electrical Contractors to assist with the design, application and management of the process for the connection of NBN to the eight new warehouses to be constructed onsite.
Edgewater Connections was engaged due to our ability to provide a full turnkey telecommunications services solution. From concept design, detailed design, lodgement of applications with NBN, advice on pathway installation requirements to arranging NBN installation when pathways were ready. Edgewater Connections were there from the beginning to the end of the project to assist along the way.
The scope of Edgewater Connections engagement included:
NBN Detailed Design and Application Management:

- Consult with the client on conceptual design of pathways for the development
- Detail design the agreed pathways and submit to client for acceptance
- Submit applications to NBN
- Upload the detailed designs to NBN for approval
- Assist with consultancy and advice during installation
- Manage the notification of onsite build timeframes with NBN to ensure that NBN are aware of when services are required
- Liaise with builders onsite to arrange installation with NBN when pathways are ready for NBN
